The Marco Baresi signature series was developed in 2008. In conjunction with the Amedia team Marco assisted in the design of his cymbal. The MB series is medium weight cymbal characterised by the individual lathing.
Beginning with a hammered bell a brilliant lathed band is added to the base of the bell which leads into the standard lathing of the bow reaching the outer edge where a final lathed brilliant band is added. The main lathing provides a dark fundamental contrasted with the brilliant bands which add brighter overtones. The result is a cymbal that is warm with a rich stick attack.
Marco Baresi China’s have a short, high and sharp “pang” sound.
